My story

Baking has always been my passion.

As a wife and mother of 4 children, baking has been a daily occurrence in our family life. I have always loved baking different breads and when I started with pastries there was no end. It’s like magic making beautiful things from a few ingredients. What started as a hobby got a bit out of hand. I still remember May 2021, the first time that I did the Turangi market. I sold out in two hours and this was the beginning of my micro bakery Homebaked. I still do the Turangi marke every forthnight, but I also now supply cafe’s , foodtrucks, restaurants around Turangi as well as The Merchant in Taupo. I love serving good bread and pastries to our community.
